Check out what's going on with FINAL PRAYER right now:
----- Again lots of things happened since we last posted some news: We recorded and released a new record, which is available on 7inch vinyl and as digital download. Thanks to all of you for the great response, we really dig it. But we also completed what was probably one of the best tours we ever did with our friends in No Turning Back during the summer. We hope to do that again any time soon. Maybe some of you have already heard, but shortly after the tour our bass-player Felix left the band to start a new job in the UK. There's no big story or any bad blood behind it. Nonetheless his departure wasn't easy for the rest of the band. Not just because he was one of the founders of the band, but first of all because he is a very good friend of us. But he's not out of the FP world completely and still supports FP wholeheartedly.
The search for a new bass-player wasn't an easy one. In fact it turned out even more difficult than we initially thought. But after some time we eventually found the right guy in Dennis Sommer, formerly of Black Friday '29. Dennis is a long time friend of us and fills the vacant job perfectly. He is a great guy and a really talented musician with a punk rock attitude and therefore fits into the band and our dirty van perfectly.
With the lineup complete again, we have already continued working on our upcoming album. We're psyched with the results so far and are close to finishing the songwriting process. We will hit the studio in January and hopefully release the record in spring. More details on this follow soon.
Until then, you have the chance to see us play a couple of shows. We can't wait to get back on stage again and play old stuff as well as the songs from the “Berlin” EP for you. These shows will be the first shows with Dennis on bass. So don't miss them as we're sure they'll bestow a great kick off to him. Here are the dates:
Dec 9th 2011: Eibenstock (Ger) at the Jie Club Dec 16th 2011: Frankfurt a.M. ( Ger) at the Elfer Club
Happy Release Day! TILL WE DROP have just finished their first European Tour with THE BLACKOUT ARGUMENT and now happily release their debut album "The Summer Triangle" TODAY! Go get your copy and your local dealer or wherever you love to.
Showyourteeth from Austria will release their new album “World Denier” on December 2nd, 2011 on Let it Burn Records. This breathtaking album is topping off a very successful year for Let It Burn with a lot of awesome new bands.
The Band about the signing: “Honored, happy and excited are only a few of many words that come to our mind when we think about our signing to LIB. When we founded this Band, gettin a deal with LIB was one of our first goals. We really feel like this is the next step further for us and we hope we can also do our part to help Let It Burns Records to get a bit further. Showyourteeth is truly proud to be a part of the LIB-Family and feels like a loved one already.”
As some of you might know Showyourteeth have already released their previous album “Forecest” on the digital sublabel Acuity.Music, so Let It Burn already had the pleasure to work with them in the past.
Showyourteeths relentless will to move forward and grow as a band is very inspiring. They are among the few European bands that have the guts and qualities to compete with any international metal/hardcore act. Their new album “World Denier” almost bursts from power and creativity and Let It Burn Records are very pleased to release it in early december.
