ARMA ANGELUS was created from the ashes of two of Chicago's most influential hardcore bands of the past years, Race Traitor and Extinction. Members formed the band mainly due to the fact that they were unhappy with the state of the punk/hardcore scene that exists today and to express their disgust with humanity in general. Having played a great deal over the past few years, many have experienced their intense live shows which have made them one of the most talked about bands in the midwest today. They manage to create an original sound in the currently stale underground music scene, a task not easily or often accomplished. Dark imagery, metallic riffs, and heavy rock.

Arma Angelus broke up on 2003 after the release of the fantastic Eulogy Records debut "Where Sleeplessness Is Rest From Nightmares". The members of Arma Angelus continued playing music in multi record selling artists RISE AGAINST and FALL OUT BOY.
