Influenced by bands like MINOR THREAT, SNFU, DAG NASTY, GOOD RIDDANCE and the melodic post-punk of FARSIDE, GAMEFACE and "new wind" area 7SECONDS.
Combining melodic punkrock and old school hardcore with meaningful and social-aware lyrics. RED TAPE PARADE is trying to bring something new to an old sound and to remind people that punk is about the music AND the message.
We believe that music is about self expression and communication - not sales points. And that a town is a town - not a 'market'. And in case you should wonder:
We are a pro-gay, pro-choice, anti-organized religion and anti-racist punk band.
So please find someone else to open up for your christian 'hardcore' bands, OK?
