Fighting on the forefront of the European hardcore scene since their inception in 2003, Solid Ground has made an excellent name for itself.
Solid Ground’s self-produced demo Run & Hide (2004) sold almost one thousand copies with literally no distribution at all. And due to their passionate live shows, this Switzerland based band has been able to build a strong and rapidly growing fan base, making Solid Ground, without a doubt, Switzerland’s leading hardcore act.
In 2005, the band joined forces with Avocado Booking, one of hardcore’s premier tour agencies. Since then, Solid Ground has toured Europe numerous times and played festivals all over Europe.
The band has shared stages with some of the best and most popular bands around, such as Cro-Mags a.k.a. F.V.K., Betrayed, Rise & Fall, No Turning Back, Blacklisted, Justice, Terror, and has been featured at some of the most important European festivals like Ninja Fest, Light The Fuse, and Dance Of Days.
Following Solid Ground’s well-received debut full length Get Used To It (Dead Serious/2005), the band is now back with the eagerly awaited and brand new follow-up album Can’t Stop Now. The CD version of the album will be released by Germany based hardcore label Let It Burn Records. Demons Run Amok Records from Germany has licensed the album’s vinyl version from Let It Burn.
Can’t Stop Now features 15 tracks of hardcore the way it was meant to be. While still staying true to the band’s unique sound, Can’t Stop Now turned out to be heavier and harder than the band’s previous material. Madball, Killing Time, and Judge are just some of the names that come to mind when listening to the band’s new material.
