Hardcore
From the filthy swamps of Ibbenbüren Rock City, Germany comes a breath of fresh air to the european and worldwide hardcore community. No wait, it actually smells like gasoline and blood.
Starting off with their first show in March 2007 as a five-piece, this now-four-piece found its own way of sound quicker than most. Having their first, selftitled EP released on blacktop records in October 2007 (7-inch followed on cobra records), the band started touring Europe and gaining ground and recognition in England, Belgium, Switzerland, Austria and Germany, sharing stages with Ritual, Waterdown, Rise & Fall, Ruiner, Sinking Ships, Pulling Teeth, Blacklisted, Death Is Not Glamorous, Red Tape Parade, Verse, To Kill, Common Cause, The Legacy, Nine, The Ocean, Rotten Sound and Trap Them, to name just a few.
Fast forward 12 months, October 2008 sees the release of their second EP, entitled SIN EP, and STORM & STRESS will be on tour in Europe following this release, doing what they do best. Stripped to the bone, this new effort is heavier and darker musically and lyrically. The SIN EP is produced by Philipp Meyer (drummer of Waterdown and known for his production work with Ritual, Within Walls and, well, Waterdown) for Burning Flag Musicproduction.
Prepare to be destroyed. There are no positive vibes, there’s nothing embracing the listener. This is ugly, painful and dirty. But most important: it’s true. Imagine a motorcycle gang of disillusioned outsiders coming to your town to raise some hell. Lock up your daughters!
