Three years after their last album Berlin's very own Final Prayer return with three recently recorded songs. The new release, entitled “Berlin”, contains two new songs of their brand of energetic hardcore which have a more catchy and slightly melodic feel to them. The third song is a cover of Ideal's Neue Deutsche Welle anthem “Berlin”, featuring guest vocals by Nico (War From A Harlots Mouth) and Bernd Kurtzke of the famous Beatsteaks, done in a way only Final Prayer could have done it.

Inspired by life in Berlin – a city that has inspired all form of political opposition ranging from the early workers movement to anti-fascist resistance to the student uprisings in the 1970s and todays attempts to reclaim the city from becoming another boring, fully commercialized hipster town - the record tells stories of resistance and struggle past and present.

It will be available on 7”vinyl through Demons Run Amok Records and as digital download through Acuity.Music. Releasedate will be 16th of September 2011.

Poison My Blood about their current band situation:
"We just posted a new bandpicture here on Facebook and as you can see, there is a new face in the Poison My Blood line-up. His name is Bjorn Seynave and he's the new vocalist for Poison My Blood.

In the past few months it became difficult for Wouter to combine Poison My Blood with other things he was pursuing in his life. He decided that he wanted to put his focus on work instead of the band and in the end he was unable to continue being a part of Poison My Blood to the fullest. We'd like to thank him for the energy and time he put in this band and we wish him all the luck and succes in his future endeavours.

Some of you will have already seen Bjorn on stage with us in the last few weeks and without a doubt you will have been blown away by his groundshaking vocals and insane stage presence. We couldn't be more fortunate by finding such a great vocalist (and an awesome dude!) on such short notice.

There is a lot of cool stuff coming up in the near future: we'll be touring Germany, Denmark and Sweden in July and playing a few festivals in the summer. In September we are doing a tour in the UK with This Distance. We're also working on other touring plans in Russia, Spain and Portugal. So there is a lot coming up in 2011-2012.

Let It Burn Records and Poison My Blood will also continue the cooperation with a new release that will be coming out somewhere around the new year. We are currently in the process of writing new material for this record and we can already tell you that it will make your heads spin 360°. More news about this release will be announced soon!

So there is a lot of really great stuff coming up, Poison My Blood is still going hard and we couldn't be more excited about the future!"

For quite some time ANCHOR have now been the lighthouse of Swedish Hardcore and we feel more than honored to announce that they have just signed a deal with Let it Burn Records.

With almost 300 Shows in 4 years (including two full US tours) and a rear cover of a whole bunch of amazing releases, ANCHOR are now set and ready to release their new album on Let it Burn Records in June 2011.

Good and sad news from our beloved TEAMKILLER. The band will release their new album "Bound to Samsara" on Let it Burn Records November 5, 2010. Unfortunatelly this will be their last album since the band decided to call it a day. But read for yourself.

"All material life comes to an end. For TEAMKILLER it is now about time to break the cycle of samsara and call it a day.

We have gone through a long, constant metamorphosis and experienced continous growth, both, as a band and as spiritual beings. The release of our final album "Bound To Samsara" in November 2010 on Let it Burn Records marks the last stage of this process. We strongly feel connected to this album and also to the decision that it is the right time to disband at this point.

We are deeply thankful for all the people who supported us on our way and share our spirit, all the great experiences we were allowed for and will avail ourselves of them for a lifetime. However, we know that we can only come full circle with a last tour and final show. It is our deepest wish to offer you an insight of what "Bound to Samsara" is capable of and share its sheer energy and spirit with you. We are currently in the stage of getting everything settled, more news and final tourdates in the works.

Sad sad news from Italy: TO KILL have decided to split up. The band will however release their highly anticipated new album "antarctica" and hit the road one more time to present the new songs. We here at Let it Burn Records don't regret one thing. We are looking forward to releasing "antarctica" and to see the band on stage a few more last times. tourdates will be announced soon, as well as the album release date.

"Sometimes in life you just get to the point where you need to move on.
To Kill has always been to us much much more than just playing and touring around, since we are truly each other's family and we felt, as a whole, that it was time for this part of our life together to end, since our personal paths were going in other directions and we all felt we wanted to pursue other aspects of our lives.
Often you hear about bands breaking up and want to know what's behind that, what's the truth behind it and what's to know in some generic statement, well this is not the case. We love each other more than ever, no one sold out, there's no bad feeling of any sort, we just felt this was the right time for this adventure to go to an end, and for new stuff to happen to us. The bond we share will never break.


A while ago we recorded our last album "antarctica", which we're very proud of and is a sort of an epitaph for our band, testifying how we've grown together. we fucking love it! This record will be out this summer on let it burn records at a soon to be announced date and will be available at all of our upcoming shows, because YES, we'll be playing some more shows.
Since we want to have the chance to say goodbye to all of you who made this ride the most incredible adventure in our lives so far, we'll be anouncing soon a few shows scheduled for this fall both in Italy and around Europe. It would mean the world if you could show up, sing, sweat and mosh with us, so...let's make it fucking epic, alright?

There would be a huge number of people to thank, so we will just thank all of you who made us feel privileged by touring and playing together the music that we love having the chance to say what we wanted to say, thanks for coming to shows, smiling, giving us a place to stay, buying a tshirt or just being nice . Thanks to all the ones involved in our band on a professional level, to all the bands we have been lucky enough to play with and to all those faces with no names which will be in our hearts forever.

Final Prayer will release "Best of Times" on Let it Burn Records July 7, 2010. This early discography CD contains Final Prayer’s debut album “Right Here Right Now”, their sold out split-releases with Alcatraz and Crisis Never ends, their unreleased first demo and a great cover song. 20 songs in total.

Felix / Final Prayer: "'Best of Times' first and foremost documents the band's early history: From the humble beginnings, aka the demo days, to two split releases, to the first album. Second, with the demo and the split releases being long out of print, seeing copies of our demo being sold for stupid amounts of money on Ebay not only made us wish we had kept some somewhere, but also made it a necessity to make these songs accessible again for a fair price. And furthermore this release hopefully serves as a thank you to all the people who have supported us from day one and continue to this day: Mathias from Our World rec., Rene Punchline, Marcel from Demons Run Amok, Chris from Let it Burn and all the people that asked us countless times about how to get copies of said releases. Alright, fasten your seatbelts: In order to unite all preeminent European hardcore bands in one big family, we made celebrate another big achievement: TO KILL are from now on part of the Let it Burn Records roster! We heartly welcome our Italian friends and look forward to releasing their arresting new album "Antarctica" any time soon.

There's a lot of bands who claim to be "hard working" and "dedicated" but most of their strength lies in getting drunk at band practices, playing local shows and recording a demo every two years. The bequest TO KILL has already created since their formation in 2004 is intangible. Besides the release of three albums and two EPs, they are one of the most active touring bands in hardcore: over 10 (!) extensive European and US tours with bands such as BANE, HAVE HEART, LIFERUINER, PARKWAY DRIVE, BURY YOUR DEAD, VERSE, SET YOUR GOALS, RAISED FIST, GATHER and so on is an amount that European band can trump. TO KILL literally live "on the road".

TO KILL about their signing with Let it Burn Records: "We have some good news from the ToKill camp: After we parted ways with our old label, we've been talking and discussing on what would be the best for us as a band and considering their amazing work ethic, their deep hardcore rooted attitude and the happiness they showed in the possibility of working with us, we feel like we found a new home in one of the longest running hardcore labels in Europe, the german based Let It Burn records. We've known these guys for a long time and we know we can totally trust them in the release of our new record 'Antarctica'."

We already got a chance to listen to 'Antarctica' and were quite impressed by the new level of heaviness TO KILL have reached. A well balanced and effective mergence of metal (20%) and (modern) hardcore (80%) that sounds more '2010' than anything else from that genre-mix I heard in a long time. Our last signing in 2009 is without any doubt one of the most exciting ones: GOLDUST from Muenster, Germany are from now on part of the Let It burn Family! We are thrilled to welcome one of the very few promising german hardcore bands to our roster. GOLDUST have proven on previous tours and releases, that they incarnate everything threatening, exciting and genuine that hardcore used to stand for in the past.

The band about their signing: "After longstanding support from numerous underground record labels, GOLDUST are now happy to announce that we got the chance to release our new full length DESTROYER | BORDERLINES through one of Germany's longest running Hardcore labels, LET IT BURN Records. Sad news from the TWR camp. After four years their drummer Jens will leave TWR in 2009. Unfortunately, it became more and more difficult for him (due to his academic studies and other personal reasons) to invest the time & commitment into the band that being a member in TWR requires.

The rest of the band will continue playing cool music. Since one drummer jumped ship TWR is hereby officially looking for a new drummer.

People told us that friendship and business should be separated to avoid conflicts but with Let it Burn, Blacktop, Storm & Stress and The Blackout Argument it is exactly the other way round. Call it imperialistic or cartelization but we have the best times signing each other’s bands. Yeah right, whatever… Storm & Stress would have deserved no other record label but Let it Burn Records, anyway. This is going to be a blast!

2008 is one hell of a year for LET IT BURN RECORDS. Never before we have enlargened our roster with such a great amount of bands within such a short time. Risen from the ashes of Austrian supergroup ESTATE, THE CASSIDY SCENARIO break completely new grounds compared to their predecessors, musically and conceptually. THE CASSIDY SCENARIO will release their debut album "Withstanding Voracity" on Let it Burn Records in early 2009. The band is currently preparing for the studio to record with Toni Meloni (Principal Studios / Caliban, The Sorrow, Estate, etc). The album artwork has been created by noone less than Dan Mumford (Gallows, Bring Me The Horizon, Set Your Goals, The Black Dahlia Murder, Architects, etc.).

Here's the band's statement on this signing: "To hell with all puff pieces about signing news and so on, here's what we all think: It feels good that there are people that like what and how we do it, people who trust us and who we trust. THE BLACKOUT ARGUMENT have released a limited 7inch version of their fabulous "Smile Like A Wolf" EP. it contains 3 songs of the download ep and one exclusive bonus track. read the band's statement:
"To not bore you to death with the usual 'we are so happy that label X has released our release Z"-chatter I will cut this short: Niko / Blacktop is one hell of a cool guy and when the idea came up to release a limited 7inch of "Smile Like A Wolf" there was only one option for us, Blacktop Records." We know that some of you kids might have problems with the new Blacktop catalog. A lot of Niko's latest signings do not really reflect what's commonly understood under the term 'hardcore' but take a second now and listen up: who gives a fuck?! Niko is doing an amazing job with Blacktop since day one and broadening his roster with bands that might not be as 'crucial' as some of his previous signings is daring but at the same time it deserves to be supported. So take the thumb out of your ass and check out some new bands that do/did not split after the first demo and 7inch."

solid ground decided to call it a day. nothing really bad happend. it
is just that over the last 1 or 2 years, it was getting harder and harder to keep the band going on a level that we wanted to. due to job responsibilities, among other duties, we couldn't dedicate as much time to the band as we wanted to.

however we feel that there is also no reason whatsoever to stop the band right here and now. we are still going to play the bunch of shows this summer that are already booked, plus we want to finish this band in an appropriatebway. so we are going to do one last european tour in october. which by the way is being book by our friends at avocado bookings as i write this.

we always felt that playing shows is one of the most important and
fun things with solid ground. so everyone out there that wants to see us one last time, make sure to come out to those last few shows and have fun!

In times when the music industry is stumbling across its own feet, it is time to break new ground. As a band you have 2 choices, you either play the game by the old rules hoping you're one of the few at the mercy of the old marketing and promotion strategies. it goes without saying that our most recent family addition TODAY WE RISE will also join the bill on the LET IT BURN SHOWCASES on Apri 4 and 5. They will share the stage with their new label mates SOLID GROUND, DEATHSPIRIT, FINAL PRAYER and MISCREANTS.

We continue the Let it Burn crusade with the addition of yet another new familiy member. TODAY WE RISE is the first band ever to be signed as a result of sending us a demo and not because we have known them already before. I guess this fact speaks for itself. We are at least as excited about this collaboration as the band is and look forward to releasing their debut album in autumn 2008.

Voices from TODAY WE RISE: “Right from the start we felt a great deal of passion in everything LIB does, a feeling that has only become stronger so far. We are in contact with the label all the time - something that is really important to us. Keeping a close knit relationship with everyone we work with is a key factor for this band. We want to keep it as personal as possible, and this is something LIB definitely has provided so far. Everyone in this band is really stoked about the signing and the help we have already received. We feel that this was the right thing to do and that LIB will help us becoming the band we want to be.”

We have been keeping track of TODAY WE RISE ever since their first demo, which already impressed us a lot. The fact that the band, even without any label support, managed to play in almost every corner of the map and make themselves a name as a hardworking and dedicated band finally led to their signing with LET IT BURN RECORDS.

Who would have thought that? Only one signing in whole 2007 and 2008 starts with three in a row! After DEATHSPIRIT and RED TAPE PARADE we announce the third band that will enlargen our roster: Swiss hardcore legend SOLID GROUND have joined us and will release their highly anticipated new album "Can't Stop Now" March 15, 2008. Needless to say that we are honored to work with a hardcore band of such high integrity.

Can’t Stop Now features 15 tracks of hardcore the way it was initially meant to be. While still staying true to their unique sound, SOLID GROUND's new material turned out to be way heavier and severe than songs previously written.

The band decided to upload three brand new songs to their myspace profile. You can also download them in high quality in our audio section.

As touring is SOLID GROUND's "calling card", they're gonna hit the road with CHEAP THRILLS in March 2008, just starting off on the release date of the album. Check out the AVOCADO BOOKING website for dates and info.

The new year starts with a great announcement: We have just teamed up with RED TAPE PARADE from southern Germany and thus enlargened our roster with one of the most amazing new hardcore/punk bands these days.

Label owner Chris Zehetleitner about the signing: “We here at LET IT BURN just fell in love with the passionate music this band plays and most of all with their upright ‘we don’t give a fuck’ attitude. In times of ‘clone wars’ within the underground scene, a band like RED TAPE PARADE is exactly what we were looking for!”

Oise Ronsberger-Palmer (bassist) about the origin of the band: “So in 2006 i was pretty done with hardcore in a musical sense. More assholes then you can shake a stick at, more clichees that any self respecting punk could take. Punkrock - once a radical form of music that insprired us to escape our own boring lives and to pick up our instruments - now seemed to split up in several ridicolous sub-genres. Macho-jock-metal, self indulgent emo, ironic post-punk hippness and shitty overproduced corporate pop-punk-wolves-in-punk-sheep- clothes.
But then i recieved a package from Revelation Records that contained cds by Sinking Ships, Shook Ones and - most important - End Of A Year. I realized that i still wasn' t done playing loud, distored music filled with anger and post-teenage angst. A few phone calls later the musical backbone of what was to become RED TAPE PARADE practised for the first time in december 2006. All of us were active in several punk/indie bands like Static84, Driving The Salt, Anything but yours, John Deere or Là Par Force. Spring 2007 we found our singer Wauz (probably the last Lagwagon fan on planet earth) and after only practising once as a complete band we recorded our eight song demo in a few hours in a messy practise space in Regensburg.”

Within a few months the band released their debut demo for free on the internet and got great reactions from both, listeners and press. In order to work on their first full length album, RED TAPE PARADE started talking to labels: “We started to feel them out and we now found some that we think know where we are coming from and what this band is about.” The CD version of the album will be released by LET IT BURN RECORDS, the vinyl version by FIELDS OF HOPE. There’s also going to be a south-east-asian CD pressing done by BASEMENT RECORDS.

Oise Ronsberger about the cooperation: “I know Chris for a long time and the fact that he knows the ‘music business’ from both sides - musician and label owner - makes him so much more reliable as a partner.”

The debut album will be recorded and mixed in late March 2008 with Californian based producer Mike Drohman at out-o-space studios in Goettingen with the help of engineer Tom Spoetter. The release date is scheduled for July 15, 2008.

It's been a while since the Let it Burn Family embraced a new member, but now we take pride in signing DEATHSPIRIT from Southern Germany. With almost all members of disbanded PAINT THE TOWN RED, this band has some familiar faces and old stagers in their rows. DEATHSPIRIT's self titled debut-mcd will be coming your way soon. Yup, it has been quiet for a little while in the Final Prayer camp. That doesn´t necessarily mean we´ve been lazy, as we´ve been busy working on new songs, writing lyrics as well as chilling in Barcelona whilst playing a festival there, hehe. You´re right, no complaints from our side about how hard it is playing in a band: we continue to have a blast all the time. As you´ll be pleased to know we got our studio-dates booked at the end of november, so a new full length should be out spring 2008. We´re in the middle of talking to some labels who are willing to put it out. Whenever we´ll have additional informations on this we´ll let you all know. The record will have about 10 new songs on it and it´s gonna be a rager for sure. We have a couple of shows lined up in the next couple of months, although live-performances will be limited due to the band still being in the midst of the songwriting process for the new record. So come out and say hello if we happen to play anywhere near your place!

P.S.: Check out the Berlin HC Sampler on Mad Mob rec. (www.madmob.de), featuring a ton of Berlins coolest Bands! We did a cover-version of Alone in a crowds “is anybody there” for the sampler. That song, our more correctly our version of it, is previously unreleased, so go and check it out!

The ideal of “hard living” used to be synonymous with hardcore/punk. Clashing with authority, facing life's woes and the victimizing effect society can crash down upon weary shoulders were standard institutions that fueled the greatest creative minds and outlets. Gone are those days of desperation. Outrage is now faked and urgency is mimed by multi-generational clones who’ve never known what the wrong side of the tracks look like.

Heaven forbid someone shouts what the world really looks like; the dirt, the grime… And no one dares to throw retribution back at the social order. Like a caged beast living under the yolk of a destructive and gritty civilization, retaliation must come. When humanity has run amok, unchecked with its coldness, there needs to be a line in the sand.

When thoughts are chained and oppressed, when ideas are beaten out of the masses with propaganda, what hope is there to cast off the shackles and think freely, to see how the world really is?

Does anyone dare throw reprisal at this dark culture where society’s sickly grasp tightens around the neck of the outraged?

Despair gives way to anger which can only be bottled for so long before the truth comes roaring, comes shouting, resisting and defying with every ounce of strength until the truth be known to all that can hear.

Miscreants and guitarist Rick Venema have officially parted ways, on good terms.
"The time came for both parties to cut the gordian knot and make a decision for the band's sake. Rick's a great bandmate and a good friend but in order for things to move forward with Miscreants we needed to let him go. No hard feelings. No regrets. We'd like to thank Rick for all his efforts and wish him the best of luck in the future. We are looking forward to touring with him one last time this summer!
After Miscreants' upcoming European tour with Age of Ruin, in support of our August 3rd release on Let It Burn Record, we will not immediately be looking for a replacement.
We are in the middle of writing a new record - halfway done as a matter of fact - and will look for a full-time member once the record has been recorded. Until then we will ask friends to fill in for Rick upcoming tours and see where that takes us..."

Its been a long time since we signed a new band last time but it was definitely worth the waiting. Let it Burn Records heartly welcomes the Miscreants from Holland! We're constantly observing the European underground music scene and Miscreants is definitely one of the most promising bands these days. Within the short time since their formation they have showed more dedication and guts than most other bands out there. Above all Miscreants have recorded one hell of a debut MCD which we are more than proud to release. We have some not so good news from Switzerland's Mosh-Metallers Dark Day Dungeon. Read their offiicial statement: "Dear friends and enemys, lovers and haters. Sometimes you win and sometimes you lose it all. Dark Day Dungeon was never destined to win. So once again we're losing. This time our guitarplayer Attila Varga. For the last three weeks we've been talking things over and over and sadly some decisions had to be made. We are all very unhappy with his decisions but have to respect that of course. Attila will leave the band. We're still good friends though! No fights, no bullshit talking, no nothing. All the shows that have been booked will be played normaly, don't worry. And the band will go on! We just don't know how yet. After the final shows with Attila we'll take a break, form the new team, maybe even record all the new songs we've written, release them. If it's gonna be under the name of Dark Day Dungeon remains to be seen. Thanx for reading and we'll keep you posted."

we are heartbroken that one of the greatest and hardest working bands in our roster decided to call it a day. Here's the official statement by the band:

With regret and sadness, we are announcing our end. For us, Awoken has always been more than a band. It has dominated our lives for 4 years and it was, and still is a symbol of friendship, ambition, and perseverance. We achieved so much more than we ever set out to and it has been an honour representing UK hardcore across Europe. It's difficult to explain the reasons why we're calling it a day, but let's just say that we've hit a metaphorical brick wall. We've grasped every opportunity that has been thrown at us and now we're all out of new pathways. We could go on, losing money on tours and hacking away at the same cities, but we've always been adamant that Awoken should never, ever become stagnant in any way. It has never been a "weekend" thing so we'd never be happy just playing the odd show, or recording a few songs whenever we've saved enough money. In short, Awoken is all or nothing. We've been living our dreams, and sooner or later, reality was always bound to come crashing down. We always did things our way, mostly DIY, and we always stuck to our guns no matter what changes might have brought us more success. We hope that we will always be seen as a positive part of the London, UK, and European hardcore legacy and we cannot thank enough those who have helped us to achieve everything we did. You know who you are.

We will be playing our final show at The Bull & Gate, Kentish Town, London, on the 18th of February, and we would like to invite everyone - from old friends to new kids - to come and say farewell.

The year 2006 is over and we want to shout out a big THANK YOU to all the kids who supported LET IT BURN RECORDS in the last 12 months. Stuttgart's metalkings CRISIS NEVER ENDS have teamed up with LET IT BURN RECORDS for a rerelease of their amazing album "A Heartbeat Away". Besides playing a couple of shows with amazing bands like Solid Ground, No Turning Back etc. throughout the last weeks, we´re busy writing new songs and preparing for our Winter Tour with Awoken which starts November 23rd. Nevertheless we´ll play the Maximum Destruction Fest II this Saturday in Essen. The line-up looks amazing and it´ll be fun times for sure. There´s still plenty of tickets available and even Emo-Chris from Let it Burn records will be there, so why no jump in your car this Saturday and make a road-trip to Essen. FP wishes to thank everybody, who made our 5-day tour over Easter fun times. Broken microphones, strings, drumsets and a broken van couldn't keep us from wrecking venues and peoples flats in Germany, Holland and Belgium. The Frietjes in Gent were equally good as rocking out again with our friends in Teamkiller, Solid Ground, Cataract, and Born From Pain. Meeting old friends and new people, seeing Rise & Fall, Clobberin Time ("Danke, wir waren Mötley Crüe!") and many other great bands perform and having Philipp a.k.a. "Junior" with us as our Merchandiser was great fun, too. As of now we're keeping our fingers crossed that the dudes at I.C. Recordings get our LP done until our release party on the 5th of May. Last sunday Micha Teamkiller and Jogges from Sidekick came round and did some guest-vocals on two of the songs - turned out amazing as well. We're now working on the vocals and hope to have the whole thing mixed and mastered by the end of next week as well, so Chris Let it burn can send the shit to the pressing plant."

Final Prayer made it safe to Kohlekeller Studios in Darmstadt, although temperatures in Germoney dropped to about minus 15 degrees Celcius lately. The drums are already recorded and everything runs smooth so far. We're working on a vinyl licensing deal with a couple of labels and will announce more details about the vinyl version of "right here, right now" very soon. Other than that, the band has booked a couple of release shows in april and may and will most likely do a full UK tour at the end of may. Sirens includes (ex-)members of BLEED INTO ONE, NO LESSON LEARNED, NYARI, 7TH SEAL BROKEN, TEAMKILLER, so the term "allstar-band" is really well placed here.

Recorded at You are Gay studios (run by Jörg, the drummer of MOVIES OF THE FUTURE), their sound includes some blistering mixture of classic hardcore with a modern edge, ranging from youthful, spiritfilled anthems to melodic and mature passages, taking the essence of 80ies and 90ies hardcore plus a dose of the present. Out comes a unique mixture from dedicated scenesters who know what they do and who will convince you that traditional hardcore can still be vital and attractive, even in 2005.

The SIRENS debut EP will be released on January 1, 2006 in a beautiful digipack.

FEAR MY THOUGHTS (Lifeforce Records) have released 2 albums on LET IT BURN RECORDS in the past. Since both CD's ("Vitriol" and "23") are sold out again, we decided have them repressed on one CD. The release will have a completely revised artwork and comes along with all lyrics and some liner notes. A release date will be announced soon.

Line-up Changes Awoken has suffered the loss of some much-loved members over the past 6 months. As some of you might remember, we went on our first European tour in March with a replacement vocalist, our good friend Sheep. Our absence since that tour has been due to time spent finding a permanent replacement. We are pleased to announce that our new vocalist is none other than Scott White (some of you might remember him as the ex-guitarist of our good friends The Break In). Prepare yourself for some of the best hardcore vocals you’re likely to hear. Sorry to everyone who contacted us offering to audition. We appreciate the support you showed us. Secondly, we are extremely sorry to announce the departure of another of our original members, guitarist Tom. As with Kris, it is nothing personal and has not effected our friendship in any way. Tom has been having a difficult time lately and does not feel he is able to give Awoken his full commitment any longer. He is playing his farewell show with Awoken at Destruction Fest on Friday 22nd July at The Underworld. Please come and show your support as he has been an integral part of everything we have done since day one. He will be sorely missed. Awoken will continue as a 4-piece, stronger than ever, with renewed determination. We are now: Adam – Bass / Dan – Guitar / Duncan – Drums / Scott - Vocals

European Tour with HOODS Unfortunately for Europe, Donnybrook have had to pull out as support for the upcoming Hoods European tour. Fortunately for us, we have been asked to step in as their replacement. At the end of August we embark on a 5-week full 2nd European tour. We are highly privileged, being big Hoods fans ourselves. Dates include Ieper Fest and Dead Fest. Check our shows section for full up to date details of the tour.

BTS have swichted guitar players. Read the band's official statement: "Our long time buddy and partner in crime Krisztian Alberti decided to part ways with Bridge To Solace to focus on his family in the future. We wish him well and thank him for the past 5 years and all the fun and good times we shared. His replacement is already found, Balint Szollar, who's not only an amazing guitarplayer but an all around good dude. The new lineup already played it's first show on a Hungarian Festival. Bridge To Solace is on a summer break, therefore going to play only 3 shows during the summer, including Europe's biggest summer festival, the week-long Sziget Festival in Budapest. The band is currently scheduling dates for the fall, as well as a new website is under construction."

Switzerland's masters of brutality have announced the title for their upcoming album. It's gonna be called "By Blood Undone" and will contain 11 songs. The band is currently in the studio, finishing the recordings. An official release date has not been announced yet but expect "By Blood Undone" to hit the stores in Spring 2005.

TCD's debut full length won't be out in 2004. The release date has been delayed till May 2005. Here's the band's official statement "Some of you might remember that Roland, mastermind/songwriter was hit by a heavy steel girder @ work half a year ago. Because of severe problems that returned a few weeks ago, we were going without any regular practising schedule for too long. But since we want to get the good job done, we decided it would be best to delay the whole thing til may 2005. Roland´s gonna be producing the whole baby @ Sleeping City Studios Karlsruhe. We´re kicking off in march to record.
